A poem from Katrina’s new collection, Battery Rocks, is highly commended in this year’s Forward Prize & the poem ‘Golden Shovel: After Iris Murdoch’ is published in The Forward Book of Poetry 2025.

Battery Rocks was published in July 2024 by Seren Books & has received the Arthur Welton Award from the Society of Authors, and been featured on BBC Radio 4’s Open Country.

Battery Rocks is ‘a meditation on nature, risk, swimming and the sea’.
